Privacy notice

BookingAsst provides appointment scheduling, messaging, call handling, reminders, calendar synchronization, feedback, and related business tools. This notice describes the product's data practices. The business you contact also controls how it uses your appointment information.

Information we process

We process business account details; services, staff, hours, and booking rules; customer names and contact details; appointment and waitlist records; message content and delivery status; feedback; connection status; billing identifiers; and limited technical data used for security and abuse prevention.

Why we process it

We use information to provide and secure the service, confirm and manage appointments, send requested communications, synchronize connected systems, measure usage, troubleshoot failures, prevent abuse, and comply with law.

Service providers and AI

Data may be processed by hosting, communications, calendar, billing, and AI providers selected for the service. BookingAsst minimizes common identifiers before sending free-form messages to the configured AI provider and instructs it not to collect sensitive medical, financial, or identity information. Customers should not send diagnoses, medical records, payment-card data, government identifiers, or emergencies through the assistant.

Choices and control

Customers can reply STOP to supported messages and can use their secure appointment link to cancel or reschedule. Businesses can download their data, disconnect integrations, and manage retention or deletion requests through their account. Public reviews are optional.

Security and retention

Integration secrets are encrypted, signed provider requests are verified, business data is access-controlled, and operational events are logged. Records are retained while needed to provide the service, meet business instructions, resolve disputes, or satisfy legal obligations, then deleted or de-identified according to the adopted retention policy.

Healthcare use

BookingAsst is a scheduling product and is not a medical service. Healthcare businesses must not use it for clinical advice or emergencies and must complete any required healthcare privacy review, data-processing agreement, or business associate agreement before sending protected health information.

Contact

Privacy requests can be submitted by the business account owner through the BookingAsst dashboard. The operator's final legal name, mailing address, and privacy email will be added before commercial launch.
